Our Spaces & Services
Fellman Dickens Reading Room
Research Support:
Researchers and other visitors are welcome to examine WPI's archival resources and special collections in the Fellman Dickens Reading Room only (all of our materials are non-circulating). Our capacity to support your research beyond providing access is dependent on a variety of factors, such as advance notice of special requests and/or communicated expectations and staff availability.
Researchers unable to visit WPI Archives & Special Collections in-person may submit research and digitization requests by emailing [email protected]. ASC staff may perform up to 30 minutes of research on behalf of a distance researcher without charge. Additional research time and substantial digitization requests may be available for a fee.
Upon request, we can also use the Reading Room to host instructional sessions and special seminars utilizing our materials. Please email [email protected] to learn more.
Hours:
The Reading Room is open for appointments Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. We also support open hours over the course of WPI's academic year Monday-Friday from 1pm-4pm. We are closed on several holidays and by appointment only over term and summer breaks. As these dates vary by year, please see the library's homepage or calendar for up-to-date hours.
Location:
The Reading Room is located on the ground floor of the George C. Gordon Library. Please see the campus map and reference "Coming to Campus" for additional information about parking, public transportation, and more.
